In Russia people do not celebrate the Christmas so openly, and for some reason it’s moved to January 7th, and main celebration is devoted to a mere change of a year and people just say “A New Year to you”…
But I believe that mostly on Christmas people celebrate the fact that they are together and having a good relationships. In some way it’s like one birthday for everyone, and people celebrate one more year that have been lived.
Although in my place everyone is saving their energy for the New Year’s Eve, and there’s no snow outside, thanks to you I’m kind of getting this atmosphere and want to wish you a Merry Christmas as well.
Beautifully stated Kabinopus. That’s exactly what it’s all about. Friends and family getting together for a celebration.
Even if you don’t celebrate it in your country, you can still do so as part of this great forum. So Merry Christmas .
Maybe you can remind us on 7th Jan about your New Year celebration.
