... THIS case, that is:

https://www.gatorcases.com/products/keyb...ig-bag-g-pg-61/

I decided that the Ultimate Support case, while very adequate for the job, is a little too flimsy for the amount of travel I plan to put the Baby G through this year.
For infrequent, casual travel needs - it's great, but I'm planning on switching things up in the new year, and playing keys more. I've been on guitar since before the summer, and now, it's time for a change.

Here's the USS case:

https://reverb.com/item/2189670-ultimate...w-extra-padding

I'll gladly sell this for $40 including shipping to conus if anyone wants it.

Dave, several years ago, I modified a similar Gator case for a fellow player by inserting pieces of 1/8-inch thick Lauan plywood behind the padding. It was a lot of work, but the case didn't gain much weight, but became nearly unbreakable. He was able to put a pair or Bose L1 compacts on top of it with no damage to the arranger keyboard inside. AT one time, we were able to purchase a case like that but they stopped making them. I still have mine.

Good luck,

Gary

I bought the smaller Gator without wheels, but thanks Don, and Gary for weighing in. I like the case to smush a bit, so I can hide them under tables, or in tight places unseen during a performance. I've been using 2 cases - one has the keyboard, and the other has the kb stand, mic stand, and bench. Easy in/out with one case in each hand. No truck needed. I smush one case inside the other, and slide it behind a banquet table or in a closet.

Lee, it fits everything .... just not as rugged as the Gator, and I will be moving it twice a week for the next foreseeable future. I want sone extra cushion. I have the big, double footpedal, the power brick, another extension cord, even room for an ipad (the 9.7).

How about one of these.. Durable, water resistant, last for a hundred years, plenty of room, and can double as a sleeping facility.. You will never outlive it smile

Wow! $159 to turn Grandma into a half pound of fertilizer. Did you READ their ad? IT'S A FLOWER POT and some dirt (YOU have to supply Grandma). Nice sentiment though, Donny.

With my luck, my kids will be coming home from my funeral ... get stuck in the snow, and use MY ASHES to get the car out!

Just got the Gator, and I LOVE it. Best case for the SX on the market. Spacious, yet compact. Great carry handle - lots of storage, beautiful, plush interior. This one's a keeper. I have more compact cases that I prefer for my Korgs, but the Yammie is a few inches deeper than the Korgs, so this bad boy is the answer.
Don't hesitate, if you're thinking Gator - it's a great fit, and a terrific product.

I have the Gator Pro Go 76.. It was pricey especially since I ordered the slim version first and the BK9 was too tight.. So I paid return shipping that added cost to the regular size.

Both the BK9 and also the G70 fit the case.

The case I won/t use again is the SKB hard case type..

I Had a perfect condition KN2000 that I sold shipped in a SKB case.

When it was received, the KN2000 was marred and scratched on the sides via the hinge folding device..
