have you tried a sub with the SX900 yet? I wander if I need one? Dave said makes a big difference.
It does make a big difference, but so does a 10th of a second in an olympic race, or the length of a horses nose at Belmont. The speakers in the SX sound fantastic on their own, (I used them alone at the winery yesterday, and it was awesome) but for a little extra "ooomph" there's nothing like adding that big fat bottom. In a studio, or home setting They are more than adequate, and actually quite lovely. It depends on what you're going for ... sound-wise. For home, with no dancers, and not a lot of real estate to cover - the bass response is well balanced, but if you need to move some air for dramatic effect, or you're playing lots of jazz bass tones, simply turning up the volume doesn't match the efficiency of nice beefy sub. *** And, for all you New Yorkers ... I'm not talking about HOAGIES, either.

Rikki or anyone else try the EQ settings shown above yet? would be interesting to hear your thoughts.... So far in MY room with both of these speakers Onboard & Rokit monitors I'm happy with the sound so far.... like I said haven't tried the RCF Jmix8 Pa yet which I assume will require a third user setting. I have not hooked a Mic into the Sx900 as of yet either still working on restoring, replacing all info from Genos into SX900 so I can continue setting it up. Anyway I am past the previous 3hour mark with the 2nd Sx900 so I guess it is starting to grow on me now.

Hi Donny, Haven had a chance to try them yet, I’m only getting short snippets of time to read messages here and there. Haven’t touched the keyboard in 3 or 4 days, except for a quick duet of silent night with the little grandson on his sax. God bless him, he brought his sax over on Xmas eve so we could play together. ( I thought he’d brought his little suitcase over and was staying the night haha, but it was his sax) Merry Xmas Donny.
