Donny, checking in to see how it's going with the EA-7. I am interested in trying out one of these (have a lot of Roland styles saved over the years - and some are outstanding).

Also, what's the scoop on the Baby Genos? You still have it?

Yes, Donny is like a reality show-one you have to follow closely to keep up with. And speaking of missing something, Donny missed the boat completely. He should have started a youtube channel ages ago and reviewed all of the different keyboards he has had. In addition, he could have provided tips and tricks on each model. He probably could have made some good money doing it.

Latest version is 2.01, from Feb 2017.
I've had his "first" one since Oct. 2018, but I don't remember if it was updated or if I did it. Donny got it from Fran, Deane got it from Donny and I got it from Deane, so somewhere along the food chain it was updated.

It had all the updates when I sold it to Donny (2.01).

Ver 2 had many new operational options and features (supplementary manual available).

Here is a history from Roland.

In other words,
you had to persuade Fran with good food before you had him release the grip on the keyboard .... grin

Yep, ya right Tony, it’s a result of boredom. If I ever wrote a post without my Spellcheck, I would have to run for cover.

PS,I love all the friendship/keyboard stories that are coming, they tell “The rest of the Story”.
