Seems to have lots of Genos content. In Spanish only. No URL. No description. No price. Just an email for more information. I'm interested if it's reasonably priced.

I know that Henni's purchased their Genos for S970 expansion, and he raves about the Revo drums.
I emailed them yesterday evening, and I'm still waiting to hear from them.
I think that they might have gotten grief from Yamaha for selling Genos samples and revoiced Genos styles, and perhaps this is why they have a low profile.

Here's the email address: keyboardtipsmx@gmail.com

It's $65. The dude sends you an invitation to make a PayPal "donation," and he promptly emails a .rar file.

It's worth the price. I did a review on Psrtutorial under the SX900 forum.

My question is: do you get true Genos samples FROm a Genos or did they resample them? I think resample as how would you get the samples out of a Genos?
BUT if the sounds are killer, then I guess it does not matter.

I am interested in the Piano's for sure.
I'm off to look at Beakybird's review. (thanks for that!)

Beakybird, So now that you have had this a while, how good is it?

What they have done is sampled a Genos, then used the wav files to create the sounds...not an easy task, I have done it a while back. Sampled my Kurzweil K2600 piano, EVERY note at 3 different strike pressures, then programmed the sound. I made the sounds on my Korg PA2XRO. Came out really nice...BUT lots of work.
Totally legal to sample a instrument...(not taking samples out of the instrument).

I am thinking of getting this package. Listening to the demo a couple times it sounds good, I am really interesting in a better Concert Grand Piano.

Lee, I haven't had as much time with it as I'd like. A lot of the drums are really, really good. At times, some parts of a kit is a little more in-your-face than I'm accustomed to, but probably a lot of it is that I'm not used to performing with a realistic drum set. However, I might want to adjust an instrument in a kit at some point.

There are two acoustic pianos and one electric piano. They don't impress me. I think that the piano that comes with the SX900 is quite adequate. I have a Roland digital grand piano hooked up to Pianoteq at home so I can get my true acoustic feel and sound piano jollies out. For arranger playing, the grand piano on the SX900 is great. One piano I tried that came with this package had the touch way too hot. This can be adjusted, but it should be right right out of the package.
The 70's Rhodes has no bight whatsoever when played aggressively. This isn't realistic, and even the Rhodes EP's that come with the SX900 are more responsive.
I like the resonator guitars. The volume is a little soft out of the box, but this can be adjusted. These guitars and the jazz violin bend up into the note when played harder. In my opinion, they're a little too responsive to this bending making them a bit wobbly. It's probably easy to adjust. They have the potential to be really, really great voices.
I like that there's a harmonica that bends up into the note when played harder.
There's a lot that I haven't explored.
There's a cool S.A2 trumpet that swoops up when played harder, but on four notes, when you play hard, it swoops up an octave down from the intended note. So A3 is A2. This needs to be fixed with an update.
There's a BigBandTrumpet that trills when played hard (I don't know if that's the trumpet term), but on some notes, the trills are on the wrong notes.
Another thing that's not ready for prime time is the spelling and formatting. I'm not a pedant, but I was an English major, and it bothers me that there are numerous spelling mistakes in the voice names and inconsistencies in the formatting where sometimes there are no spaces between words and other times there are spaces. Sometimes "S.Art!" has the period missing. Sometimes it has the exclamation point missing. Sometimes it's S.A! and other times it's S.Art! You see "Acustic" guitar, "Tumpet," "Harmonic" instead of "Harmonica."
I fixed all of these, and then I realized that many of the revoiced styles that came with the package will have voice parts missing or OTS's missing because I fixed the spelling and formatting.
So I emailed the seller the package back with the correct spelling and consistent formatting, and I told him about what fixes I would recommend, and let's see if he implements them.

I was playing at a memory care unit today, and I twice I changed drum kits on the fly to this expansion pack drum kits, and the styles sounded markedly better.

So this is quite promising, but I feel a bit like a beta tester.
