The title of this thread reads (unless it has been modified):-
"Billy Jean never sounded like this WOW!!"
In my opinion, this is very accurte, because ... indeed, IT NEVER SOUNDED LIKE THIS WOW ... which is true. The 'WOW' means this good or this bad, and from the responces above, I think we are all leaning in the same direction!
That sounds pretty amazing to me. Just to get my head to where I'd even conceive of a version like that would be well beyond me. I don't think my imagination even gets close, let alone having the actual capability of carrying it out.
The most refreshing and creative thing I've heard posted here in a long, long time. I thought it was great. Wish I had the patience and talent to produce something like this.

+1 - I'm with you Chas - this kid has got talent. Whether we like it or not, technology is going to continue to push creativity into new expressive arenas. And the technology truly is amazing - such great tools for kids like this!

This has been going on for many decades, beginning with a country singer, Roger Miller, who worked his guitar with his vocals. Nothing new here, nothing more than another gimmick song.

I love it when someone can put a new and creative twist on an old classic. Granted, this particular rendition might not work on the dance floor at my parents 50 th wedding anniversary party but I’m sure most musicians, jazz fans, and other creative types would at least appreciate this young man’s musical skills and creativity.
