Just talked with Russ, Logan is about the same, slowly improving, had to make a minor adjustment in his oxygen intake level, but his temperature is now below 100, which is a good sign that some of the infectious process seems to be resolving. Gary

Thanks a lot, everyone. So much for my arrogant feeling of invincibility. Man, it's rough to look at your kid, completely paralyzed, swollen, on total life support.
On top of that, one of my sweet puppies was scheduled for surgery to remove a large lump on her chest, and annual dental. Just took her home and am going back to the office. Been sleeping on a small couch in the room for 4 evenings.
This is the same hospital that screwed up my care to the point of being life-threatening, but so far, with a much more complicated case, they have been fabulous.
Didn't know much about SARS or Sudden Respiratory Failure Syndrome (very similar) but recovery is long, difficult; sometimes with lasting damage.
Thing is, in the last three years, I have been transitioning this business into one more suited to Logan's skill set. He is an OK bass player in my jazz group, a great sound engineer, IT man and social media manager. Obviously, that is all going to change.
Thanks so much. Your messages have been the one bright spot in a pretty dark and painful 2020.
Be well, all,
Russ and Logan
