Honestly I Like the resistance and feel of the EA7 keys over any Psr, S, Pa1000 units etc,.....

the pa4x,genos,sd7, after a while take a a toll on my fingers..

I'll be trying hammond waterfall and nord keybeds soon at the store..

seems to me a new set of fingers for your next purchase will be the best option!!.......

reassessing everything, needs, wants, reality.

The times I have played the piano, I like the hammer action, as it seems more suited for the instrument, after all it is a percussion instrument. And I think it is more expressive....
For everything else I like a medium weighted synth action...like on PRO synths or Genos, PA4, etc.

I will say the SX-900 keybed is very nice indeed...way better to me than the other PSR's were before it.

personally love piano weighted keys .
Using my p121 more often as controller for my sx, than playing sx keys , but I do use piano voice for melody in most of the songs I play.

If you don't have one and just play Arranger I would grab an inexpensive DP to practice on and get your chops up. It will really help your Arranger playing. You can get a discontinued Casio Privia 160 for $399 now on blowout.

Very good especially for the price. More than adequate for practice or even gigging. Full size keys a and 1/4" outs and decent speakers. . I had the earlier 350 before I upgraded to my Roland FP90 but even the Roland FP 10 would be a another good choice. The DP field is getting crowded.
