Cleans, protects, lubricates, and improves conductivity

Reduces intermittent connections, arcing, and RFI as well as wear and abrasion

Safe for use on all metal connectors and contacts and will not harm plastics

Some of my Tyros 2 buttons need a bit if sprucing up...
this should do the trick. Got a can coming. cool2

CRC always did the trick for me. Used it commercially. $7.98 at Home Depot.

Donny, it will not work on those type of sealed switches. But, you can destroy a PC board in a heartbeat with it - it's a solvent!

No not on the keyboard. Contactors, relays and the like. Won't affect plastics.

I agree with Gary Diamond. This stuff has no use around keyboards. If you really have issues AND you're a qualified tech, some rubbing alcohol on a Q-tip might restore reliable operation. But if the switch has been hammered on for more than 10 years you might just need to replace it-- again, IF you can get the part, and are qualified to do that sort of thing.

No problem I'll spray the buttons.... If it helps fine...
If it doesn't that's fine too, ... If it stops working in the garbage it goes and get something else. I've used this in the past on all day and new keyboards no problems at all.

Ok I just sprayed with the Cleaner I've shown above
on the Tyros 2 buttons, wheels, knobs, etc,...and wow what a big difference! .....
now buttons that were a bit sticky or needed a
firmer extra push now work fine with a light touch!!
I am so glad I did this bit of self maintenance on T2 using this contact cleaner worth every penny cool2 ...
works like a charm so easy you never know what
dirt & grime is in the air even in your own house
that can gum up electrical contacts. cool2

Being a electronics tech...I recommend the QD first, then the Caig next, it has some nice stuff in it to keep things clean and protected from corrosion.By first I use it first on a contact then follow up with the D5.
