Today I dabbled in using the quick recording features on the DGX-660
just to get the feel of the operational uses recording SMF & Audio
quite useful and sounds terriffic as played.
easy to save to USB also, I could also record directly into my DAW using endless multitracks also.
I am very happy with the Voices and sounds..... cool2

take care

Sounds great. I have always been interested in that keyboard. I think I was put off because of the weight and my age, 73.

I've owned the 660 since it first came out for my home practice keyboard...along with the Yamaha I have a Numa 2 organ on the same 2 tier stand.. previously, I've owned several early incarnations of the DGX...nice setup for my home rig.

px700, psr 775, VR09, Kronos LS, Modx8

I must be missing something here. To me it sounds like a bunch of measures consisting of "style" and "fill-ins" with a few melody notes added in at the end.
Donny's posted some great music in the past which I have maybe a dozen of his tunes still on my hard drive. And, he DID state he's just toying around with the machine.

So...I'll listen to it again, but what did I miss here?

Absolutely nothing! Captain Tony, who was the mayor of Key West, Florida had a wonder campaign poster, of which I have one hanging on my wall. He was among many of my heroes.

Glad you're able to read Donny's mind Gary, especially since he himself declined to respond.

As to your hero Captain Tony, clearly he was someone to admire and I'm sure he contributed greatly to the advancement of society. He DOES sound like your kind of guy.

Actually, he has contributed significantly to the advancement of society, especially the island and city of Key West, Florida, but I wouldn't expect you to know about that about him.

You're right Gary, I only know what you posted, and based on his campaign poster, it looks like all he needs is a billion dollars and you've got your next President-in-waiting. When you've got a winning formula, may as well stick with it.
