I admire his playing skills, but in the real world
how many can play arranger like this or would want to?

Lee as stated it's a jam no rhyme or reason....
but I understand your sentiments. I also feel like you most times.
I look for things I can take away from any performance
with blinders off and absorb to better my own playing.

Take care

Great playing and it show you don't have to play an Arranger as an Arranger. I've done a bunch of work with other musicians and used it as a very versatile keyboard.
Good to listen to other peoples use of an Arranger

Oh Donny, I wish you would have talked to me before you bought the pa600. I was very disappointed with it. Maybe you’ll have more success than I did...I hope so. The transitions from variation to variation hiccuped terribly.
Maybe just me, so I hope you have better luck than I did.
Good luck with it,
Mitch

I had one. Liked the navigation- improved functions over pa500. Sounds were kind if thin though.

Sparky did you dig in the os and EQ the sounds and styles etc,?
Korgs need a little TLC but once your homework is done
it can sound amazing!..

I had the Pa600 ...upgraded to the Pa900 primarily because of the on board VH ...

BTW, my Pa600 didn't sound like this basically because I don't have Marco's talent, skill, or imagination ... wink

Mitch....that's odd as i have had almost every Korg arranger ever produced since the first SAS20 and never remember any terrible hiccup, or traditional problems ever. Yes they can be a bit tricky if not executed at the right time but aside from that
all ahead full on KORG.
Take care

Donny, you probably would be more successful with the 600 than myself. My overall impression just left me wanting a more fuller sound. I too was impressed with Marco’s performance. I think that played a part in wanting one. Marco...I am not. If I remember correctly...Frank told me it was not one of Korg’s better selling arrangers.

I'm sure you're right Donny. I'm just getting lazy in my old age I guess.

....and, I agree with Donny too.

I'm wondering if demonstrators who present an instrument in this way should take credit for the decline of arranger sales

And I agree with impuls too.

Players like this make me feel pessimistic about the return to the scene of real music!
