Thank you all for the many kind PM's I have received from all over the world it is deeply appreciated. I tried to answer as many as I could. I'm loving my Tyros 4G HYBRID Besides the 500 great styles already in Tyros 4, I have incorporated all of the Genos converted styles to work with the Tyros4 which now becomes a "Tyros 4G HYBRID" and let me say it sounds amazing! I got a great deal on it & I could just not pass up it is MINT... and was cheaper then a SX900!....The keybed, tilt display, sliders, quality sound engine, SA2, VH2,(which I will have to dig deep and heavily edit it to my liking) it's all good and a real comfort to play. This could be the one for me.. When Tyros5 & Genos came out I remember reading a few posts that a few Tyros4 owners that switched to T5/Genos wish they didn't for many reasons they just loved the T4. That always stuck in my head thru-out my switching KB scenarios. I said to my self one of these days I am gonna get a T4 and when the opportunity arose I jumped on it, and I am glad I did. Already having a Genos for a short while the one thing I grew fond of was the "continuity of the style variations" and the way they "stay in the same family" unlike many arranger keyboard styles which when you change variations sometimes it loses the groove as your progress thru them so to speak especially on Big Band/Jazz styles, etc,... I've only had the Tyros4G HYBRID a few days and will take my time setting it up to make it a true Tyros4G HYBRID. Don't get me wrong I will still use many of my custom Yamaha styles, third party styles, T4, T5, S-series styles, etc, along with many of the Genos styles also. Anyway that's it for now I have to get back to my Tyros4G HYBRID... Man these Genos Converted styles sound terriffic Until the next time we talk stay well, or PM me.. Take care

Hi Randy, personally never had a T series. Interesting how some people seem to have preferred their T 4 over the T 5.
Anyway, you sounded great, no doubt Donny will get the best out of his , also. Thanks again Rikki! I had the T2 and T4 as I recall. They sure are great as long as you don't have to transport them too much. Did play a few gigs with them but never looked forward to hauling either of them out of the house. Never met a Yammie (or Korg) I didn't love! Just sayin'! PS - How's that old song go? You know... "To All the 'Boards I've Loved Before..."? (Cue Don Mason)… Shucks - I'll even start w/the lyrics.. To all the 'boards I've Loved Before The FEDEX men seen at my door I'm glad they came along I dedicate this song To all the 'boards I've loved before To all the 'boards I played all night Even the few that weren't quite right Although I've had my fill I want more even still To all the 'boards I've loved before.... - SZ'ers Plug your lyrics in here -

Of course for some on this board, the next line is very appropriate ... "The winds of change are always blowing ...
