This disturbs me and frightens me more than the Corona Virus. Just when you think society has reached it's lowest point, it rallies and shows more of it's potential.

I made that remark while we were walking the aisles trying to find something edible at my local supermarket for supper.

He first said coronavirus was a Democratic hoax. This dickhead wouldn't know if his ass was on fire and he is out to kill us all. Hopefully he goes first. And having been in contact with a coronavirus patient but still refuses to get tested he will do that for us. Sorry if you voted for him but that is something you need to reconcile with yourself.

Stores plan there stock on expected demand, however they can sometimes get caught out by a sudden change, give it a couple of days for them to get more stock from the suppliers/manufactures, and you will find it will be pretty much back to normal.

Maybe the wave of the future will be what was touched on. Not necessarily live video, but producing your own sing a long videos and selling them, or a subscription to them, to the facilities. Or some combination of it.

It's not what we want, it's not who most of us probably are, but it may be the wider part of the road ahead. It has become necessary to adapt to technology to keep up with our keyboards; this may require more of the same in the way of video technology. Unfortunately, it removes the human emotional exchange between performer and audience.

I hope this is only temporary, but this proves true, it sadly may send many of our group into retirement..

All of my gigs have been cancelled or postponed. These gigs are not at NH or Assisted Living facilities.

If "live" music is eliminated and replaced by YouTube videos, the afore mentioned phrase: "Attention! Will Robinson. Danger! Danger!" looms ominously in our musical futures.

As it is already, our auto arranger keyboards eliminate other musicians in our acts. I would encourage one not to go any further down this slippery slope.

Just how contagious is the Carona Virus? Keep in mind that one of those gigantic cruise ships that ended up circling offshore for several days had just 21 cases, 19 of which were crew and 2 passengers tested positive. This out of more than 4,000 passengers crammed into a floating sardine can. Nearly everyone came in contact with an infected person, yet only 2 passengers actually tested positive. One of the medical professionals stated yesterday that the mist from a contagious cough would only carry about 5 feet and 6 feet at best, then dissipate. Additionally, there have been no mortalities in people over 50 years of age, worldwide.

The actual mortality rate is an unknown factor at this point, mainly because at the present time, it is only based upon reported cases. Medical specialist stated that there are likely many times more unreported cases, due to the fact that this merely mimics the common cold, for which people rarely see a physician, stay home, take aspirin and allow it to take it's course. After 10 days, the patient feels OK and goes about their regular, daily routine.

There seems to be more arm-chair specialists with absolutely no medical background or training making brash statements about this disease, especially in the press, where the motto is "If it bleeds, it leads."

Don’t know where you get your news from, (I hope it’s not Fox News as probably 90% of stuff on there is fake) but the mortality worldwide is a hell of a lot (Do some real research) with most being elderly or with complex health problems.
Don’t bury your head in the sand, as while there is a lot of hype and sensationalism in the news media it’s a serious problem. (Many countries are literally closed (And these are 1st world countries) with movement restricted and the US looks like it could follow a similar route due to its lethargic response at the beginning)

Real lethality is assessed to be 0.5 to 1 percent by highly regarded virologists, which would already be 5 to 10 times as much as with a normal influenca. Statistically, it often exceeds 2 percent due to the dark figure of mild cases remaining untested.
In Italy, lethality is not only higher due to the dark figure, but also due to the terrible situation that there are not enough intensive care places with breathing equipment. Other countries will very soon run into the same problem unless drastic restrictions are put in place. No fun.

So whom do we believe?!? I don't know ... confused1 :

https://abcnews.go.com/Health/learn-americans-died-coronavirus/story?id=69588942
"What we know and don’t about the Americans who died from coronavirus
At least 23 of the Americans who have died were over 70."

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/m...-at-the-numbers
… "and people aged over 50 experienced the highest rate of deaths"

https://www.vox.com/2020/3/12/21173783/coronavirus-death-age-covid-19-elderly-seniors
"In Italy, a country with one of the world’s oldest populations, a March 4 analysis by the national health institute found that of the 105 patients who died from the virus, the average age was 81. This put a 20-year gap between the average age of people who tested positive for the virus and the deceased, the institute said. On Friday, an ICU physician in Lombardy — the epicenter of Italy’s outbreak — told JAMA there have been only two deaths of people under the age of 50."

Cancer, heart disease, diabetes, suicides, humans, mosquitoes, and snakes are not contagious ...

Yes, the media LOVES to expound on any disaster, near or far, but I do believe CAUTION is the key right now ... AND washing your hands, including your wrists ...
just sayin'
