As you know, I’ve been enjoying my old PSR-3000, but I started to play my S950 again as well.
This my rendition of a popular Russian song is based on electric guitar voices, which aren’t on PSR-3000. I guess, when it comes to guitars, the difference between older and newer PSRs is more obvious.
I realize now that I want to keep all keyboards I have, even if I have to store them in my small room. There’re nuances in each one, which can be inspiring.
In this time, when there’s a lot of distraction, I guess, it’s vital to stay occupied and focused. I guess, the activity we choose to do so, tells a lot of our nature.
By the way, I don’t really like the original performance of this song (by popular Soviet/Russian actor with a hat), it was an English cover which inspired me to play my own version: https://youtu.be/eG88tO7X5T8

Keep in mind that the 3000 was a giant leap above the 2000, and I performed for years with both models. That 3000 is a true workhorse of a keyboard. When I got the S-950 it seemed as if more doors had just opened for my musical adventures, as I am sure it did with you.
Great job on the song, judicious use of the pitch blend wheel, which made the guitar sound so very realistic.
All the best, my Russian friend,
Gary

As a matter of fact, because of these realistic guitars I had used the pitch bend wheel some much, that I had to replace it last year altogether (the actual plastic part). As you might notice, I also use FC7 pedal as pitch bend as well, but it has only half the range of a pitch bend wheel.
Kabinopus Great Job as usual........ video quality is super also well done. Appreciate you sharing your music with us. Even tough there are not many replies I personally enjoyed listening to this performance.

Thank you, Donny! As for replies, I have nothing to complain about; I know that SZ is a very cozy community, and people here are very attentive. I enjoy reading what people post here; I understand, that everyone has a lot of things going on in their lives… still, people find time to comment my videos, to tell me something encouraging; I value that; but I’m here not because of people comment my videos; I just find everything you discuss here and the way you do it very interesting.

Sergey, I listened to your version, the original version, and then yours again, and yours is much better ... very different interpretation ... Thank you
Salsaman, I have been trying to make more money by working with music; was rather optimistic just recently; now with this global problem it’s surely not the best time to proceed. I will comment on my plans in more suitable subject (topic).
