I recorded this back in 2015 during a performance at an upscale retirement community. Today, as I look out my window, while the world is in turmoil, there is still a wonderful world out there and lots of wonderful people. The sky is bright blue, a few puffy, white clouds passing overhead, the front lawn is covered with robins and within a few weeks, the dogwoods will be blooming. My daughter came over to help with some of the chores I can no longer perform, and just to check on Carol and I during our declining years.

Here's my rendition of Wonderful World played and recorded using a special style on my trusty PSR-S-910.

Keep in touch with your loved ones and friends,

Gary cool

Nice Gary. Enjoy the spring weather. We have already had to mow the grass three times!
It's great to have a young wife. I did, however, allow her to buy a riding mower last year, which shows what a great guy I really am. smile

Thanks everyone for the compliments, and Rikki, over the years I have stockpiled more than 50,000 style files, many of them custom for the songs that I performed. One of the things that PSR Tutorial is noted for is it's massive collection of styles for Yamaha owners.

Thanks again, everyone,

Gary cool

Thanks for listening and commenting, Eric. This is one of those songs I always enjoyed performing and seemed to always go over well with any audience, young and old.

Cheers,

Gary cool

Thanks Steve. I hope you are enjoying that wonderful weather down there in sunny Florida. There's some real good tarpon fishing just down the road from you about 150 miles away at Captiva Pass. I loved fishing there because you could see the fish 30 feet beneath the boat because the water was gin clear. This is the time of year the tarpon congregate in the pass and feed on pinfish. Lots of snags there because of the heavy coral growth, but the tarpon were huge, many well over 100 pounds.

All the best,

Gary cool

Very lovely version, and a perfect style for the song too. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks Lee. I just recorded another song a few minutes ago and posted it, Galway Girl. It's a fun song for Saint Paddy's Day.

79 degrees at 9 PM, not bad at all for March 19th. I was never much of a fisherman but thanks for the tip.

Donny... I use the same style, the same lyrics and it doesn't sound half as good as yours. frown
