Never heard of you will say and you will be spot on. But bear with me please. Notwithstanding the pandemic and my own shaky constitution I continue to endeavour finding solace in making music and listening to good music. I also realize this is predominantly a keyboard orientated forum and the fact that over 90% of those participating are from the USA.
So.....here is some geography first and some astounding music later which ,I think, might appeal to many of you here.
I live in the very southwest of Holland near a town called Middelburg, check it out please...
DANNY VERA is a musician who actually is from Middelburg and has been around the block for a while but has risen to national fame over the last five years. He and his band do a lot of covers but he also writes a bunch of songs himself.
Last year he had a megahit in Holland and a few surrounding countries with his song "Rollercoaster ", see link below for an astonishing live studio performance.
Yesterday the site of our regional radio station ( where I was employed once myself) published a brand new video of him recorded at his house a couple of days ago with a grand new song penned by himself which imho should hit Bilbooard 100 (does that still exist ) song entitled:"Hold on and let go"
(see link below)
And to top it all 14 year old DAX (who lives about 25 kms from where I live) surprised all and sundry with his stellar performance of Blue Suede Shoes on national network TV in the program The Voice Kids.
Enjoy !!!!!
regards,
John
