Hello Nobby!
What I did not say was that the Yammie motorcycle I had threw me two weeks after purchase resulting in massive dental bills and scars that remain to this day! Of course it was the bikes fault and nothing whatever to do with me being half asleep on my way to work and not seeing the truck parked up in front of me.
It certainly had nothing to do with me being seventeen and a bit stupid. The former has been corrected by time and the latter by bitter experience!! Never got on a bike again though. Four wheels for me, much safer for all concerned
My new car has cruise control so I assume that when I am tired on the way to work in future I can sleep secure in the knowledge that the auto-pilot will take over
BUT back to keyboards ..... I was of course only jesting when I called yammie people strange
To be honest I have always considered Technics to be far superior instruments UNTIL I played the 9000PRO. I love it. However I love my KN 6000 as I did my 5000 before it. I am seriously considering (when the 7000 & Tyros are launched) taking advantage of the price reductions and KEEPING the 6000 and buying a 9000PRO. That way I will get the best of both worlds!
I know that Scott Yee who has been a long time devoted technics fan purchased the PSR 2000 and was so impressed that he sold his KN 5000. When you can impress pro players of Scotts calibre then Yamaha MUST be doing something right in my opinion.
Now if Harley made K/B's I guess life would be perfect
