Don, I am happy you could share about this good man that carried his faith to the end(on Earth). His good works and attitude are inspiring.

I wish you could have met him. Besides being a minister, he was a promoter. He knew how to work the businesses, yes even Ernest, to help provide food, clothes, toiletries...whatever was needed, for distribution to the people in his ministries. He sang extremely well, and would occasionally come up and say "Don Mason, I feel like a song tonight". Rainy Night in Georgia was his favorite to sing with me. He sang "It Is Well" acapella at Ernest's mom's funeral and it was very moving. He had a really strong, loud voice, but it fit his large stature and demeanor.
