i use to sell and teach these estey organs at fletcher music in florida. i remember bill kelly of lowery . he was a good musician, programmer. as far as the organ , overpriced , cheap constuction. the dicsovery was entry level, freedom was 2nd level, i think there was 2 or 3 levels after that. the idea was as you progressed in learning to play ,you would want more and move into the next level. very successful plan back in the 70's and 80's. funny how yamaha, korg, arranger's are doing the same thing today. that business for ya. Lol.

Which one? as Estey and Ringway organs are completely different types.

If I had to choose the double keyboard was a bit better.

It was the other way round; Orla just re-voiced the Ringway Organs and sold them through the Orla network.

Did you view the 2nd video of the new Ringway organs, (As your reply seems to indicate you only watched the 1st video) as there is no connection between the Estey and Ringway companies?

Hi Bill,
only watched snippets, but preferred sound of Ringway.

I consider the Ringway RS800 a good buy for the price, retailing in the UK for £8,800.
That's a lot of keyboard for the money and most of the sounds I've heard would satisfy me.
The Oboe was lovely and far better than the ones on my Genos.
Styles were a little bit on the Tinny side but most arranger styles are too overcooked anyway.
If I hadn't splashed out on my Genos, I would make room for it in my home.
Yamaha are missing out by not selling the D-Deck in the UK.
No suitable keyboards available to use for a lower keyboard for the Genos.
Again, Yamaha are missing out here so at least, Ringway are trying to plug the gap.
