Outside projects, cleaning out closets and drawers, (got stuff on EBAY), walking everyday for an hour , playing around with my new to me BK7M /FP90 setup.RE: I'm actually liking it better than my BK9 because I'm playing full piano, not just right hand and I love the action of the keyboard. Also got a re-boot of energy to work on my model RR which was in a stalled mode. Watching a movie a night, I love movies. I also love to read but don't have anymore time in the day for that !!

Start the day with prayers for the world ... and often during the day ...
After breakfast it's the LA Times crossword puzzle ...
Lots of time spent with our great granddaughter who is living with us ... she is my best audience when playing the kb and singing ... She is our sunshine during these dismal weather days, and the light at the end of the tunnel ...
And of course, experimenting with different styles for different songs ...
And going for daily walks with my wife ...

Been playing Ham Radio, playing music, exercising and watching TV w/the wife. Weather has been beautiful here in the Panhandle. Best wishes to all for a safe transition through this scary fog we are in....

PS - as you know it has been hard to find bread and yeast.... the wife and I baked up a loaf of "Beer Bread" and it turned out amazing! Real simple - we used wheat flour, a can of beer, and added raisins and coconut and honey. OMG. A wonderful treat!

Saxman,
I am KB5FA. Haven't been on the air in a decade. My wife is WD5IAO - she killed the morse code stuff.

Also, we sleep late, eat some super meals prepared by my wife. Go walking 2 or 3 times a day and often take 2 hour drives around the area. Usually hit the sack by 2:00 AM. Oh yes, we go to the grocery store. I try to spend time playing my two keyboards but frankly have lost interest lately. So far we both are ok and stay away from people unless we are at the grocery store.

And "Nobody Boy" on Netflix is really good. It's a young John Lennon story.

I have almost caught up with my honey-do list that had been growing steadily,so the wife is happy. We stay in except once a week shopping, strictly adhering to CDC rules. I have a backlog of music projects that I thought were unrealistic, given my former schedule. I now can delve into them, including recording, video, and above all, piano. Don't laugh, look at when Einstein started.

It isn't just the results, but the journey along the way.

Now what’s that? Let me tell you what that is; Tony is setting up a beautiful day for himself and his family. Makes you wanna visit.

Rule: Garbage in, Garbage out. Good stuff in, nice stuff out.

Tony, loved on my daughter like that – and now many years later, the fruit of our love is all over. I like it!-- . I like it!—

Me, I am setting up all the tunes I did 20 years ago, mostly instrumentals.

Redoing my music room, ala Dave, but not quite as, ??? I can’t think of the word.
And helping people who are far more than concerned.

Kids are taking care of our groceries ... binged watched Jack Ryan and now on second season of Borsch ... watching everyone performing on facebook, some/most of them are outstanding, makes me feel kind-a mediocre ... tackled 2 big cleaning projects and in my music room, found stuff from as far back the late '50's. All very distracting, I Need to motivate myself to get my head back into music. Has anyone put a performance up on facebook? If so, what kind of recording equipment did you use? Hang in folks, better days are ahead ...

Plus one for starting the day with some prayer for the world!

I spend at least an hour a day at the SX900. Weather here in Central Florida is cooperating for bike rides and walks on alternating days. My wife and I do play some board games and card game called 5 Crowns during late afternoon. After our supper we head out on our gas powered golf cart and take about a 6 to 10 mile ride touring just a portion of some of the 110 miles of what they call multi-modal paths (paths that allow golf carts, walkers, joggers and bicylists).

Oh yea a movie is usually on the tap for the evening. We also tap into zoom for on line meetings with friends.

Hi ,
not really much changed here, except we can’t visit with the kids and grandkids who just live 20 doors down. Hard for the younger one to comprehend why he can’t visit us, without scaring the hell out of him.

Groceries get delivered by our supermarkets for us oldies and the sick. We take priority apparently so we do get most of the stuff we order.

20 rolls of toilet paper this morning, couldn’t believe it, ( they haven’t had any in 6 weeks) was able to give the 4 pack the son dropped off the other day back to him.

Apart from having to do an all but, drive thru vet visit for the dog, we haven’t been out.
Too scared, they have become so strict with what one can and can’t do without getting fined,
You basically have to prove why you’re out and about and it has to be one of the legitimate reasons for doing so. Ie shopping, going to doctor, going to work ( hopefully going to vet counts)
Last weekend I packed up a couple of cups of coffee and some cake and we just drove to one of the parks. Didn’t even get out just had it in the car, not game to do it this weekend just in case, because the restrictions tightened up this week.
The restrictions are working well to contain thevirus so can’t really complain.

Spending more time on my keyboard , and I’m thanking my lucky stars hubby has really gotten back into playing games on his PS4, or I’d be feeling guilty.
That’s what I really love about my hobby, I can shut out the horrible stuff going on around the world, even if just for a few hours. Would be just too heartbreaking having to live it 24/7 and knowing there’s nothing I can do , that would be of any consequence.

Rikki, I think you've pretty much summed up how the vast majority of us feel ... but we WILL get through this ...
We stay away from the news channels and get what we need to know from our Gov's press conferences, and she delivers a strong message without all the hysteria ...
Keep strong, and stay out of harm's way ...

I just spent the last week teaching both myself and Carol about using Alexia, which now monitors the basement family room, the kitchen and bedroom, which is neat. Also purchased a smart phone for her, which is a real challenge for someone who has been using a flip phone for the past 25 years. Needed it to make calls with Alexa. So far, she has not killed me! wink

Today, I ventured out to the liquor store, picked up a couple bottles of Jim Bean Honey, then stopped at the seafood carryout and brought home two dozen Salt Pond Oysters and a dozen large, steamed, blue crabs OH YEAH!

Hi John, I know it’s crazy, but that’s the only size they had for sale online. Pack of 20 rolls.
Would make more sense selling in 4’s or 8’s, but over here they decided to do the jumbo packs instead of continuing making the smaller ones.

Only reason we have shortages, government discovered the Chinese were up to no good over here.

https://www.dailymercury.com.au/news/90-tonnes-of-supplies-shipped-to-china/3983282/

I’d ship you some of my 20 toilet rollsTony, but I could be in trouble.haha

Hi Dave, our liquor stores are open here, but they’ve had to put limits on how much you can buy at a given time.
They were worried about a run on it, after they told us not to go out unnecessarily.

No but I'll check it out. Thanks

Looked up that movie. Very interesting to see the behind the scenes shots. Didn't know that Phil Spector was such an important part. Sort of like a fill in for George Martin. I still think Yoko is a no talent wacko who hit the jackpot hooking up with John. I'd like to hear what he would of wrote without her influence.

PS, Life is Good, we put a few thousand into fixing our back porch about two years ago. Today Phyllis and I had a fancy breakfast out on our porch. The sun was bright, and the temp was just right. Nice!

I am VERY jealous !!! mad

Actually, God Bless, John ... enjoy every minute ... smile

Two new film scores for a big Italian client. They are closed now, for three more months, but need the projects in the fall. Hope they are still around. Writing content for the state Tourism Department. Trying to sell a family business...three farms, 7 convenience stores and about 40 pieces of rental property.

Thinking I won't go back to playing live.

Hi Deane - "KB5FA de N4SAX"... sorry I'm late getting to this one. You and your XYL are doing about the same as myself and the wife. You should jump back into Amateur radio - do you have any gear around? Lots of folks are activating parks these days. Fun for activators and the chasers.

We have been getting our groceries via pickup from Walmart and having food delivered by Schwan's along with doing some takeout. We heard a rumor this morning that our local theater chain (AMC) may not reopen their huge 14-screen complex.... so many people are streaming now they fear the habit will stick. Sad times for lots of businesses I suppose. The restaurant I was playing at has converted to takeout and they are doing well so far.

Hang in there and hope we all come out the other end of this roller coaster in one piece!

"73 de N4SAX"...

Just been in the shed making leather masks for the grand kids to amuse themselves with. Dropped them off via their dad with he passes to see if we are ok. Also, making leather mouth and nose masks for the oldies - all colours so they are not so scary. Have to find something to do.

At least most people here are behaving themselves. A couple days ago, they announced the local hospital has 70 cases due to one person off a cruise ship ( he has passed away) here in Tasmania.

It's a small island and we know people here, but that is the same everywhere.

I am just working remotely on my PC at work. My day is no different from being in the office. Well apart from having to spend 1 1/2 hours driving that is.
