Great demo Thanks. It does sound great and the player is top notch but with my limited exposure to other brands of keyboards I'd tend to believe you could sound as good with any of the TOP ones. Just takes a lot of time and patience to work with it and learn the system.
Have fun you've got a great keyboard.

Almost every style he played were audio drum styles. Pity there weren't more of them and that Yamaha quit making them.

I honestly don't even think YOU agree. It's just your impulsive M.O. Not a bad thing, but pretty predictable. I'm glad you like it. really, I am.

I loved that first song and recognized the style from S970, SX900 and Genos. The audio styles will play on the 900 and Genos, but you have to download and put them into the kb.

Donny, It was one of those rare opportunities. I found out a day before he was going to do the clinic in the afternoon then a concert in the evening. I was not able to stay for the evening but I did the afternoon clinic, there were a total of 5 of us it was great.

Still like him in his Kurtzweil days during the late 80s, here is a song from one of his CDs https://app.box.com/s/el187iyfk4dkme227ni3vszp5ewubz19

Audio drums were first introduced to the arranger/organ market in around 2000 by Ketron & Wersi.

I think any Arranger Keyboard is little like an ice sculpture, you start off with a block of ice, you have your set of tools.

It’s how you use the tools to create your sculpture.

Yep,... still do not like them..
..without being able to edit the style parts I have no use for them. That said there are too many great styles to use besides
audio styles.

I am not a fan of the audio drums either.
- Cannot edit
- Sound terrible when trying to change (slow down) the tempo.
- When performing, the the change in sound is too drastic when
playing a song with normal styles to audio styles.

The styles have nice intros, endings and variations and have been converted to regular styles by players. Those are the ones I use.
