My "throne" for 40 years has been a rolling drafting stool. I use it for a dolly sometimes too. Totally adjustable, portable, and the most comfortable chair I own. It fits just fine in my Expedition with all the other gear, but I actually have two. One I leave at the regular job and the other in the garage for outside things.

"old guy" playing old songs"
...although in our minds we think we're young lol..
trying to be kool and old at the same time is tricky...I was thinking of shaving my head the other day until my wife gave me that look and I decided not to just sayin..

looks like a good idea but for my taste it's too low. I use a drum throne with a bicycle style seat it's very adjustable in height, works well and I've used it for about 9 years now.

The photo of the guy on the floor reminds me of a gig I did for seniors. I had an x-stand style padded piano bench. I didn't fasten the clamps properly I started in on my first tune and the thing collapsed. I was fine but from the look on the age of those older folks I was hoping no one would have a heart attack seeing me fall.

Yes, I'm an old guy, playing old songs to old people ... I know where I am in life and I LOVE it ... not trying to be kool, just trying to entertain people ... as my wife says "you started out playing 50's songs to people and now you are back to playing 50's songs tp people" ... come full circle and that's something not everyone can say ... just sayin'

Gloom, despair, and agony on me. Deep, dark depression, excessive misery. If it weren't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all. Gloom, despair, and agony on me... smile HEE HAW!
