Bored? No way! I can't believe it's been a month is solitary, and yes - I AM IN SOLITARY. No one to talk with ... al by myself (lol)
I'm actually feeling a little guilty at just how easy this month has been with no interruptions, no home school classes, no schedule, dinner time, bed time .... I set ONE alarm, and that is for the Wednesday reminder to get ready to go live. Except for tips I haven't made any money in a solid month. That's a first for adult me.
I am learning SO much about tech, gear, and my possible future directional change in the biz that reflects pumping up my internet footprint. You have to be willing to change to stay alive. You stop moving ... you die. I heard that in a movie somewhere.

No, it will not be for "many months". The economy cannot stand that. It would bankrupt the nation, and maybe the world.
Another tough decision will have to be made soon. Glad it's not my job to make it!

Soooooo, Donny, have ya had any GOOD days lately? C'mon - you're a blessed guy, and none of this even affects you. You're set - no more hittin' the road - no more loadin' the van .... enjoy this time of your life. Leave the hustlin' to those of us who actually want, and HAVE to do it. I promise you - I'll be fine, and the biz will bounce back .... maybe changed, and maybe very different, but there will always be a place for art and music. I intend to FIND that place, and settle in till I retire. No Stinkin' germ is gonna ruin my chances. I have too much to say, and too much to sing.
Now, relax, and try to find something positive to think about. There are many blessing to celebrate.

Dave, thanks for sharing the Godin w/Triple Play. It seems to be working well for you. Unfortunately, sd40 with external triple play was clumsy for me.
Keep them coming.
Mitch

Mitch,
I'm sure there are better settings for my guitar than the stock effects that come with the SD7, but I'm just not ready to go there yet. If I had to guess - I'd say that my road rig will include a small mixer that feeds the 2nd mic/instr input. This will allow me to process an iPad and the guitar and still monitor the mix through the internal speakers. I have these teeny passive mixers that work great to sum 2 or three sources with basic EQ. The mixer is about the size of a pack of cigarettes (so I'm told), and fits candidly on the shelf above the USB drive slots. This allows me to use a multi FX pedal for the guitar if needed.
