A week ago my wife finished 5 weeks of Chemo and Radiation. The aftermath is leaving her fatigued and she is resting and sleeping a lot. Believe it or not,but she feels sorry for me that I'm alone. Told her that after 61 years together we are one, always together and near to each other and that rest is the best medicine. I haven't played my PSR S975 for months now, but felt compelled to play The Nearness of You. Here it is, not rehearsed, straight from the heart and glad my fingers found the right keys. I'm grateful to a gracious God who directed us to the best doctors and gave her the strength to go through this.

Gerry, the love in your post makes everything fine. My mother in her worst time did not want to go because she was concerned about leaving my father. Gerry, after reading your post I sat back and smiled, you helped make my day. John C. PS, I could not get into Box.net without signing or joining.

Gerry, you have allowed what is inside of you to come out in your playing. What a beautiful love story. John C.
PS, I have been to Hava Sue City (spelling?) visiting Joe LaPlaka, a friend of many years. He was a flight instructor; beautiful town. Anywhere near you?
this sounds absolutely lovely and soothing. Pianobar they would call that in Italy, the choice of instruments is excellent and so is the playing. Perhaps if I may add some constructive critisism imho the sax sound solo is a bit loud in comparison to the overall accompaniment but he that is just a minor thing.... It is really good to see how many of folks here are now sharing their musical recordings rather thatn their views of equipment and whose is best!!!thanks for sharing. Hope your wife will convalesce real fast !

Thanks all of you for the compliments. Yes, sax was a bit loud, and I forgot to change keys. Wife's recovering from treatment will take about 3 weeks, after that MRI to see if the tumor shrank. She survived a Japanese internment camp during WWII in Indonesia as a child and she WILL survive this disease.

That is REALLY nice, lots of feeling. Best wishes to you and your wife. My wife can colon cancer and went through extensive chemo. That was 14 years ago and everything is excellent since then!
