No Don not karaoke.. a pro MP3 backing track....
didn't want to do the same ho hum
repetitive style play on this one..
thanx for listening...
gave me something to do to ease the boredom
of being home..
Maybe I'll tinker with it add some more parts,
etc, who knows.

Semantics, but whatever, it sounds great. I have a whole folder of MP3 tracks with associated lyrics files.

No embedded karaoke lyrics with these...
single tracks that can be edited thruout the song in your DAW

Donny, nice job, I remember the song well ...
There's no arguing that Bobby had the best voice of the Philadelphia teen phenoms of the day ...

A friend of mine has purchased a number of files from 'Karaoke Version' and others ... not sure what he uses but I know he edits by track on his PC ... A number of them sound really good ...

Use all the tools ...

What a great old song. Don't know how many times I listened to it on the radio. You did a wonderful job. You took me right back to that era. Thank you.

Yeah, but to be fair - Bobby has been dealing with health issues.

Tony, I have over 200 karaoke version tracks and I love them. When i buy one I transpose it to my key with karaoke tools and then I learn to play
along with it.Then i find the right rythem and put the whole thing in songbook on my pa1000.I can play them live or use the tracks depending on the crowd or requests. I also put the tracks on my i pad so I can do a job without the keyboard if I have too, like outside with my 2 bose s1 pros. Always ready for anything

MEL PS I USE KARAOKE ANYWHERE APP. ITS SUPER AND $3.00

Donny, Fabian wasn't with them?

I saw them a number of years ago at Foxwoods ... At the time I felt Bobby was still the best, and Fabian was still trying to learn to sing ... wink

Anyone from the Philly area absolutely remembers this song, and you nailed it Donny.

How did you record this?

Donny, despite not working regularly for quite sometime, your vocal ability has held up well.

As for the tracks, NAH! I still consider this Karaoke, whether they are MP3, MIDI, or even a WAV file. Even if YOU created the tracks, they are still pre-recorded tracks that I consider very limiting. I used midi files for a learning tool, which allowed me to perform those songs on stage using style files and lots of creativity during a live performance. Yeah, I know you can play along with these files, but most people using them DO NOT.

Just my .02 cents worth,

Gary cool
