Dave, I run most of my GoPro footage into Power Director where I use Wave Editor to process the audio. For livestreaming, the GoPro is good but probably no better than a TOTL IPhone or even my Galaxy Note 10. It's strength is in the GoPro App. The Mic on the Media Mod is actually pretty good but of course that's another 79.00 (GoPro is like the 'Apple' of action cams smile ).

If you're on Facebook, tonight at 6PM EST, my great friend, former bandmate, and a superb entertainer will be performing live. I will be paying close attention to how he presents this show, and I'll steal whatever I can from his knowledge. He's awesome on stage, and we can all learn a lot from his way of connecting with a crowd.
His Name is Jim Bannach, and his band name is BLT. Check him out. (he's playing a Genos BTW)

In addition to Chas' GoPro, I really like the Q8. I watched a video/audio (works like a champ through monitors out) of one of my performances a few months ago. It was so crystal clear and CD quality live sound that I almost gagged watching smile The equipment is wonderful, but I have a long way to go before I video again (yes, I'm hard on myself).

May will be a whole new ballgame. Redesigning everything. I used April as a testing ground to see what I wanted to accomplish. Now, I need to put it all in practice ... on a shoestring budget.

hmmm, those left hand chord changes on the Genos do not sound very good. I had a similar issue with my now departed Genos.

Did anyone else hear them in Jim's otherwise fantastic video?

I only watched the demo video ("Just the Two of Us") and it was pretty short. Jim has an excellent voice!

I didn't notice anything wrong with the chord changes in this short demo. There was a lot of reverb. It appears that Mr. Bannach plays "full keyboard" style, which could result in more frequent chord changes, and potentially some unintended chords on the off beats.

I'm strictly a left-hand chord guy. I'm also very picky about glitching and portamento during chord changes; these make the music sound "arrangerish." My own experience suggests that Korgs are better than the other brands when it comes to changing chords CLEANLY. Pre-Genos Yamahas seem to fumble around a lot, unless all of the keys signaling the chord are pressed within 0.02 seconds of each other (which is hard to do consistently.) I've often wondered whether this is the real reason why so many folks think that Korg's vocal harmony is better-- because the recognized chord drives the harmony. My $.02.

Ted give it a go we'd all love to hear a song.. headphone

and the real reason TC helicon VH is much better then the so called
VH2 is sound quality and tracking simple as that any pro sing will tell you that.
