Do you mind sharing with us exactly what that is, Fran? I, for one, can't figure it out ...

BTW, with all this discussion about what sounds good or not, I've said for years that the beauty of any sound is in the ear of the beholder ... no two people hear sound the same ...

John did you get out of the wrong side of bed?

First the tracks that were in discussion are older MP3 tracks of other gear.

If you recall I told you to go for the SD7 via our email. I am a firm supporter of Ketron.

My example of the MS is not to showcase the track seq.. but to show the pristine sound quality.. (apparently many folks here can't hear :))

Hi Fran,

In a way I did I guess. I may have misunderstood the context of your mail here, if so I apologise. As Tony so rightly says Sound is in the ear of the beholder...
I thought it was kind of funny to realize that the four "D" s,
(Donny, Don, Dave and Deane) are either playing a Ketron or were having second thoughs about having one again. Apparently this is not true for Donny as he just stated so I stand corrected. ( although the Lord knows what else he could try again once he has flogged the T4). And Don stated he had made an offer to Dave, that leads/led me to assume he is again interested....I just thought that kind of funny really, nothing more nothing less.
And by the by, I know Fran you shared with me your thoughts on the Ketrons and they were predominantly positive.

P.S.
seems my creative flow over the last few months has come to an abrupt end due to an incident with massive mike feedback, so there won't be any new songs or videos in the near future....alas....

regards
John

John,.. I have owned and performed with All Ketron units including the Midjay, since the X1 except for the Audya for some unknown reason.
No offer has ever been made to Dave for his SD7.
I hope you get the feedback? issue sorted and start
recording again as soon as possible.
Try not to assume too much of what is said on SZ..
Good luck with your music..

You may be just kidding chas, but you prove my point ... as there are obviously many people who really like the sound of an accordion ...

I'm certainly not interested in another SD7, since I tried it twice, plus the SD40, and found that although they are certainly great arrangers, they don't suit my needs as well as others do.
The EA7 is doing just fine right now.
Perhaps after the virus has abated I would look at something new if it comes out, maybe Korg or, less likely Roland, but no hurry to make any changes at this time. I'm not even playing what I have much.

Wait - WHAT? I know of no such offer. eek2
Don would have called me directly if he was interested. This KB is too long for his permanent stand setup, and the weight is prohibitive as he approaches mid-life.

Mark me down as a Kale lover! Veggies are my JAM. (also jam, but that's another subject)
There are no veggies I don't like, and in normal shopping runs - my cart if full of them.
