Here's a country song that I did in 2009 using Ketron Audya.
Still the best sounding Ketron of all, in my opinion.
Good Directions - Audya

This one is NOT country, rather long as people were dancing when I recorded it.

I was in my studio when I played this. After about 2 verses I started playing along with it on the NC2X which happened to be set to piano. To avoid a conflict I switched to a nice lite swishy organ. NOW, if we can just get it to the right record label you can start picking out that private jet....well maybe a hang glider smile smile. Seriously Don, it was a lot of fun to play along with. You're right, that Audya sounds great....although, if Paul's right, it could be the keyboardist smile smile. BTW, I'm getting some of those high winds from down your way. A little scary, especially since I just replaced my roof a month ago.

Thanks guys, glad you liked 'em.
Chas, that sounds like a plan to me. Go ahead and order the jet, and I'll be working on the label. smile
I hope you don't get hit like we did. This weather this year has been crazy and we have another one coming Tuesday they say.

Don, the Audya is a very nice KB, way ahead of it's time , it had a few serious disk problems when it was first launched but I am sure they will have fixed all that now, some real fantastic sounds , you need to buy ans use one to know how good it is, never knew why I sold mine now, it made a hell of of kit with the Tyros 4 as double stacked, the Audya some very nice country sounds, how long have you had yours.

Thanks Tony. I don't have it; sold it years ago. I was moving around quite a bit and it was heavy and big, and I didn't like the pitch bend wheel locations. I since have had SD7 and SD40 and they are very good, but don't have the audio guitars that the Audya does. You have to get into the SD9, SD60 or SD90 to get those back.
I now have trouble with my fingers if the keys are too heavy, so I even sold my favorite arranger of all time, my Korg PA4X. The only arranger I have right now is the Roland EA7, which is more of a middle of the line arranger. It does have a lot of things I like though.
Maybe when the virus turmoil subsides, I'll think about something else again. It most likely will be a module if that were to happen.

Don, I like the work you did on Learnin' the Blues. It brought me to smokey filled bar with plenty of booze flowing! Nice job as usual!

Don, thanks for sharing. Both songs sound great! No matter what keyboard you play...you manage to get a nice live group sound.

Who knows...I'm not certain if things will ever get back to where I am playing enough to justify something new. Only thing I haven't had is SD90 and they are pretty expensive for an experiment.
We have lots of expenses right now...$500. on the hail damage on each car, also on house. And I'm going to need a new vehicle soon.

If you DO go the module route - the EA7 is as good a controller as you can get. Small, light, has tons of stuff that might add to the module. If I were you - the EA7, and a Ketron Module would look mighty attractive after all your other stuff gets handled.

Thank you guys. Glad you enjoyed these songs.
No more looking around for now though. I will enjoy the EA7.
I did get some good news on the storm damage. Since all our vehicles and the house are insured by the same company, there will be only one deductible, so that will help a lot.
