Here's a very sparse recording of Rt66 in F that leave plenty of room for organ and sax to solo over. There are no vocals - take, jam with it, record your part, then REPOST it! It's got a simple 4 bar intro and outro, and each chorus get busier till the middle, then they calm down as they get to the end.

This will give your tires hands and feet a rest Chas. The SD7 did most of the hard work already! Now, get busy!

Maybe Chas will play it. We could all get together and rent one for him.

Dave, Rt66 sounds very good, did you add your guitar to the backing?

John, I did as little as possible on that recording to leave room for improvisation by other solo instruments. Everything you hear is from the SD7 style. It was weird not playing more fill ins, but I wanted a simple, generic track that someone can embellish.

Dave, thanks for the invite but as Tony said in a previous post, there are other guys on this forum that would do a much better job on this particular framework than me. Good luck with it.

I thought you were the one to suggest this? Now I'm sad.
