Bernie,
I had the same problem. I was using the Ketron SD7 for gigs but it is just to heavy for me. Some days I play doubles and twice last year I did triples. Just to much weight to lug around that much so I went to the Ketron SD40 Module and will start using vArranger to have something a bit different for some gigs. My SD40 setup total weight including a Bose S1 pro speaker is about 25 pounds! I still have my Ketron SD2 Module and will also use it with vArranger at times.

Yes! I'll be 21 years in June. Lots of good times and lots of things learned.

I use my SD40 with my SK1 Hammond with good results, but, like you, want variety in a light setup. The GUI,the endless choices of styles, and ease of use of vArranger makes it another viable tool. If I have to,my SD2 works fine if I can't come up with a decent internal solution. At least.it is already mapped, with all of the instruments handily displayed.
