I'm using the Roland Cube Street because it serves as a music stand for my iPad Pro 12.9". The Bose have a bit more low end, but the Roland has 3 band EQ and more effects available ..... plus 4 channels - 2 of them stereo. My iPad is loaded with tracks, MP3, midi files form all over, but largely, I use Karafun, a subscription service. I started using it a lot when I got the job at THIS restaurant ... there were so many guests that loved to sit in, and sing, but didn't know lyrics that I just pulled up Karafun, and left it there all night. A little lazy, but the end result was a seamless show that most enjoyed. I'm gonna miss this place.

Are you using your bose s1 pro's on battery power and if so, how do you like them? I think they are the greatest small speakers out there and the sound is super for their size.
MEL I had two Bose S1 speakers when they came out but sold them. If you use a guitar and sing it's ok,....but if you want to push them using a full spectrum sound arranger kb & singing on top of that I wasn't impressed with the overall sound no matter how I tried to set them up. Yes it is versatile for certain uses but there are better units out there. For a small unit & the bang for the buck the LD Maui 5 is hard to beat for sound and coverage, no need for speaker stands either.. https://www.ld-systems.com/en/series/maui-series/4216/maui-5

Hey that is BIG, especially these days. All my gear is paid for and I don't plan to buy anything else unless I have the money in hand. Also, now have two vehicles and a boat paid for, and the new vehicle has very low payments. On top of that I have a young wife with a great job! So Don, I guess you replaced your Expedition. I junked my Explorer after two transmission replacements, and the rear timing chain went behind the motor.. Junked my wife's explorer shortly after, Timing chain and trans was going too. Yes, the Expedition was totaled by hail. It has been a great vehicle. 220,000 miles, original transmission, no timing chain problem, actually nothing except to replace the spark igniter things once. It still runs great. I may take the insurance money and keep it and sell it for the buy back price to a friend who wants it. It wasn't worth very much to start with, being 14 years old and with lots of miles.
