I'm using the Roland Cube Street because it serves as a music stand for my iPad Pro 12.9". The Bose have a bit more low end, but the Roland has 3 band EQ and more effects available ..... plus 4 channels - 2 of them stereo. My iPad is loaded with tracks, MP3, midi files form all over, but largely, I use Karafun, a subscription service. I started using it a lot when I got the job at THIS restaurant ... there were so many guests that loved to sit in, and sing, but didn't know lyrics that I just pulled up Karafun, and left it there all night. A little lazy, but the end result was a seamless show that most enjoyed. I'm gonna miss this place.

Brilliant Dave, a tinge of normalisation in these crazy times.

Very uplifting.

This is a pretty upscale neighborhood, and the patrons are mostly all set financially, so they were always very generous to the bartenders, and myself. There was a steady crowd of regulars that I could count on each night. All gone now .... why don't they just keep sending me money???? eek2

If you watch on your cell phone you can disable the ALTIMETER feature so when you turn the phone sideways it will stay that way and you can see the video without it turning...
I hope Dave does another show soon.

Are you using your bose s1 pro's on battery power and if so, how do you like them? I think they are the greatest small speakers out there and the sound is super for their size.

I had two Bose S1 speakers when they came out but sold them.
If you use a guitar and sing it's ok,....but if you want to
push them using a full spectrum sound arranger kb & singing
on top of that I wasn't impressed with the overall sound
no matter how I tried to set them up.
Yes it is versatile for certain uses but there are better units out there.
For a small unit & the bang for the buck the LD Maui 5
is hard to beat for sound and coverage,
no need for speaker stands either..

I was mainly asking about battery power performance. Look I am totally happy with my s1 pros and my l1 compacts and my yamaha speakers but working outside with no power is a great option.
