Just brought home the new baby (KN 7000) I also got the new EW03 Vintage Keyboard card and will load that in a few minutes. I spent 4 hours at the dealers(OHIO, USA) playing it before I brought it home.

Will follow with more news as I play with it all weekend!

Hey Mark! Congratulations and ENJOY! Will look forward to your reactions and comments about the new 7000. I echo Eli's question: will you share the price you paid with us? Many of us are still in the barghaining stage. (Do you have any idea what the dealer's cost is???) Have a great weekend and keep those keys moving!

Alain, KN7000 should be supplied with SD card reader (SD-Jukebox v2.4) (this is in a separate box), 8 Mb SD card together with an Applications & Drivers disc, which contains the Song Manager and Audio Recorder set up

the card reader is a UK package, and may not be guaranteed in other markets, you'll have to see if it is included.

Hallo Alec,

If here in Belgium the card reader is not supplied (not sure but you never know) is it possible to transfer all my data from the pc to the sd card when it's in the kn7000 or do I realy need a card reader to do the job ?
Thanks,
Alain

Alain, You don't need the card reader to transfer KN files from PC to KN7000 - I haven't got my card reader yet, but will have soon. It's very easy to carry out the transfer, using the supplied 'Song Manager' software, via USB. I've already transferred most of the files from my KN6000 HD SX3- had to do it using floppy discs which was a real PAIN I have all my files now on CD and it's just as easy to transfer.

Hello ,

Thanks for the answer.

I have the backup off my hdsx6 on my computer.
I presume I will be able to tranfert this directly to a sd card that's in the kn7000.
I have 3 sd cards off 64 Mb.
Normally it would possible to transfert the three parts off my backup to the sd card..I hope.
If I have to copy 400 to 500 disks.....

Thanks again,
Alain

I am intrigued as to why you don't have a card reader writer + it's software yet
Mine came with my keyboard in it's own box

I think it's just an oversight on the part of either Panasonic or my dealer. Will get in touch with my dealer next week. I'm not in any hurry for it.
