Don't remember if I ever posted this one, but it is among my favorites. Feather Song was played in various forms throughout the movie, Forest Gump. Bet I watched that moved a half dozen times.

Cheers,

Gary cool

Gary, that sounds great. Was that a midi file played on your S950?
If so...nice job!

I just sat down at my trusty S-950, selected a style from the Movie & Show section, Movie Ballad, set the tempo, then worked my way through the variations. I used the onboard grand piano and strings, playing the song as I remembered it from the cobwebs of mind from watching the movie. I recorded it using the onboard USB recorder, which precludes any editing, then loaded it into Audacity and converted it to an MP3 file. Piece of cake. smile

All the best,

Gary cool

Thanks everyone, for the compliments. I'm still working on the Jimmy Buffett song, One Particular Harbor, but finding the vocals very difficult with my limited lung capacity. With any kind of luck, I will be able to complete it within another week or two.

A little different genre from your usual fare...and well done. I recall the floating feather in the movie...but didn't pay enough attention to the music to realize where it was from. Nice job.
