It looks legit, at least in the USA. What could be their motivation for doing this? I wonder if it means they are moving on to "Style File Format 3?"

I'm not an insider, just speculating here. What do they have to gain? Clear out the old to make room for the new?

Probably as base for a new campaig; trying to sell more hardware?

Used my VPN to get on to the USA website site and there are no pop-ups or ads that mention anything about being free. (Clear out your browser history and cache to see if you still get the pop-up/ad)
May also be worth running Malwarebytes (Or similar) to see if there are any infections. (This applies to Mac, Windows & Linux as they are linked to the browser not the OS)

Yesterday there was a popup notice for free premium packs on June 30

Today, no popup notice.

I'm thinking Yamaha Music Soft USA may have been hacked for a day.

Maybe a little O/T but does anyone else find Yamaha Musicsoft slow and clumsy to use? I personally LOVED the Internet Direct Connect feature, but it was dropped in the transition from Tyros 4 to Tyros 5. Is it even still supported?

Besides that, no new styles for the last couple of years.
Premium packs are also slow coming out ...
Who knows what direction Yamaha is taking.
They gave us an expansion pack for free with version 2.0 for the Genos.
In addition to that we got most of the missing SX900 styles for free.
Not a bad deal
