Greetings,

I bought one of these a few years ago based the recommendation of a member here, and it is by far my favorite VH pedal I have ( I also have a bunch TC Helicon pedals- none working...) Anyways, my Degitech is experiencing problems with one of the foot switches and I have a show coming up this weekend.... This model is discontinued! Anyone have one they'd like to sell me?

Thanks!

Are you still looking? I know someone selling a MINT Vocalist Live 3 with the original box and adapter. It was barely used. It belonged to his father, and I think he fell ill shortly after buying it, and never really used it much after that.

I used the Digitech studio for many years, it was fantastic. Now I am using what is in my Yamaha Sx900 -- I do have a TC telicon Live which sits in my closet.

I’m not a fan of VH pedals, with so much that you need to turn on and off or adjust.

I got myself a TC Mic Mechanic foot pedal to start with, but found that the switch was too stiff and small and hurt my hand, but there were things I needed to adjust that prevented me from using it on the floor.

So I traded it for a VK Perform, and life got a lot easier...

Push comes to shove, I can still connect a foot switch for hands free on/off if I need that.

Diki, sorry but I like the TC Voice Live. It has (if my memory holds true) Five buttons you can program. The unit can be attached to a Mic stand, or on top of the keyboard. Five buttons, they are like regs on a keyboard. Five is enough for what I need.

On occasions I place it on m KMA --- they work well together.

I use the VoiceLive 3 which is attached to my mic stand.
I can make Quick changes with my hands.
In addition I use a 3 button Foot switch.
This way I can turn Harmonies on off and advance to some programs with my foot.
Best of both worlds smile
Eric

You don't find those footswitches hard on your hands? Maybe they take less force than the Mic Mechanic did? That one is definitely designed to sit on a guitarists's pedal board, and its switch was definitely designed for stomping guitarist feet!

That switch did double duty as an on/off and a tap tempo for the echo which you had to press and hold to engage. Took WAY too much force on the palm of the hand to be comfortable, IMO.

But to each his own. In truth, I virtually never use the VH (not really a big fan of block harmonies) and primarily use my PerformVK as a mic preamp/compressor/eq and then for delay on the voice when needed (the BK-9 has a pretty good general purpose reverb for the mic input), so the little unit works good for my limited use.

I would probably go with something more elaborate if my harmony needs were more...

The foot switch buttons on the Vocalist Live 3 are very easy on the fingers. I was really surprised when testing it out. You could use this all night long and not wear out your fingers.
