I built the DX350 around 1983 .... it left 'the building' pretty fast because of poor sound quality.
btw. both streams have a disappointing quality too.

DX350 was 1985, and I loved mine (Console version) although OOTB it was Germanic sounding. (If you built the portable you needed external speakers as the internal ones were naff)

My first Wersi was a Delta 500. I don’t remember which model the second was, but I could disconnect the stand and pedals and use the top as an arranger keyboard. Played two jobs at PGA National and decided it was too much work to disconnect and carry. Great sound; quality.

I have owned a couple of Wersi instruments also; last was a Scala CD700, which I sold probably 10+ years ago. The newer OAX instruments are impressive, and the samples/sounds are much improved over what I remember from the Scala/CD line that Wersi had maybe ~15-20 years ago.

I played one recently, and it was nice to play pedals again (haven't played pedals as much in recent years).

If only that could be in a 40 lb. package that I could take to gigs! :-)

No doubt it all COULD be packaged in a lightweight case, but then it becomes difficult to charge the exorbitant money that Wersi need to charge to stay in business when addressing such a tiny niche market.
