For some, the authenticity that Audio Drums present far outweighs their limitation. These folks get KETRON Audya/SD9 series.

For others, however, the editability of drum parts far outweighs their authenticity. These folks get other manufacturer brands.

For those who want both, they get the AjamSonic drum kits (which are individual samples of the drum kits used to create the initial audio loops... having the best of both worlds!

Thanks,

Thank you for the information, I will be waiting patiently and hope that the results of your work will be available soon on Audya. Only Yamaha everywhere and it's getting harder and harder to get GOOD ketron styles frown

GOOD PROFESSIONAL KETRON STYLES (Sokratis 1974 and his drummer were both involved in some of the AUDYA styles)

Hello Sarepaul. Not yet. I'm working on something new for Audya series and SD9/90 also.
It will still take several months to complete.
All this new Audio styles include new audio drums.

Maybe one day in the future, arrangers can use multitrack interleaved audio files as the source for audio drums etc..

if you have a 7.1 or a 5.1 interleaved file, that’s 8 or 6 independent tracks where you could have kick, snare, cymbals and overheads, possibly toms, all on tracks that could be micro adjusted a bit depending on the situation. I really like some of Sokratis’ styles, but feel that in a busy mix, the snare is probably perfect, but strip it down, and possibly it’s a hair over the top. It would be possible once arrangers have the horsepower to play 7.1 files (so there’s no sync issues with phasing between tracks) to adjust the track volumes and even EQ and effect sends without having to resort to the matched sampled drums.

Even pretty low power Android devices can stream 7.1 these days,, so I think if it’s something the keyboard manufacturers think is a good idea, the chipsets are available and not ultra expensive.

Mixing is such an art, change one element in a tune, it’s amazing how much you need to adjust the drum balance, compression, EQ etc. (plus most of the other sounds!). It would be amazing if one day in the near future, we get the authenticity of live loops, but still the control to be able to adjust the mix as needed! 🎹😎👌

I use www.createsongstyles.com extensively for my Technics KN7000 keyboard. No the web site does not provide any styles for my keyboard so I download other manufacturers styles from there and then convert them using EMC Styleworks software.
