He told me that for the time being he'll keep practicing on his current guitar for a couple more years and will get a new guitar when he's good enough. Quite the opposite of most arranger keyboard players. Haha! (Guys, don't be offended.)

Taike, don't be too critical of mom. With most kids, you've got to have a 'good cop/bad cop'. She's just providing a little balance to a doting father . Odd though, usually it's the father that's the 'bad cop'. That's the way it was with my family....although, come to think of it, they DID love their mother more . Oh well, at least I had fun being the 'bad cop'.

Chas, very true. I just can't bring myself to be mad at him for he he's less than a fraction of my badness when I was his age. Balance is all good and well but the nagging gets to him....et moi. 😜 🤪 🤣
