and in place in the dining room. After three months of work, I had movers move the new dining room table from my family room to the living room, a job that took two, young, strong men in their late 30s to accomplish, with a bit of a struggle. It now weighs 280 pounds with the legs attached. Here it will stay until after I am dead.

Thanks Donny. I just finished cleaning up the mess I made of the family room, which was a 3-day job, vacuuming, dusting, scrubbing the floors and waxing the furniture and floors. Carol loves the table in the dining room, but was worried about scratching that mirror like surface. The final coat was the same kind of barrier coat they put on new cars to prevent scratches, so that problem is solved, I hope. Keep in touch, Gary

Well deserved - huge project completed and what a keepsake! Hey, who isn't old? I blew out my hip after standing for years and playing a sustain pedal. Think I tore a tendon - so much pain. I have to sit my next job, which I have never done. Going to a specialist next week. Carry on Same here, but it was my knees. Stood and played for 30 years, balancing on one leg so the other could work the sustain. Finally, after one season, couldn’t walk! Had to sit. Fortunately, I am so short that sitting on a folding bar stool, I was still about the same height (really short legs)! It didn’t get to the point of surgery, thank goodness, but sitting cured it and opened up the other leg to run switches and a swell pedal! One door closes, another opens! I hope you fully recover… 🎹😎

John, I am considering another woodworking project, but something a bit smaller.
All the best ,
Gary
