Yamaha calls those "Registrations."

Vadim, apologies if you already tried this... But perhaps you could connect an external sequencer or DAW to your Yamaha's "MIDI Out." Access the Yamaha's MIDI menu, and configure it to send all data. Then, select a registration, and see what the MIDI / SysEx looks like. By "spying" on the internal workings of the board like this, it might tell you what kinds of messages you need to send to set the voices and FX, etc. My $.02.

In Rolandspeak, the ‘Performance’ recalls everything. The OTS recalls keyboard layouts.

In Yamaha it's "registration" memory

I’m confused. Last two posts say the Yamaha ‘Registration’ saves everything, like Roland’s Performances, but this states the Registrations don’t save the song panel settings. Am I missing something..?

That's what I'm confused to. Registration Memory is Supposed to save All panels settings, but for some reason song panel settings don't get saved, I'm assuming I have some preference option set that is preventing those panel settings from being saved

Could you elaborate on what you mean by ’song panel settings’?

in Yamaha "panel" means "mixer" I guess. There are separate tabs for style panel / mixer, and for song and for left and right hands

So, if the Registration doesn’t save these, how on earth do you call up something with everything ready to go?

Or are you making changes, and then not storing them in the registration? I’m still unsure what the problem is.
