All information helps. I'm finding that just by loading and saving a KN7000 file on my PR54 there is information added in the middle of some files. So it is not only the instrument ID that may need to be changed in order to be totally compatible.

U can convert ur apc, drum1,drum2 and bass to sequencer track and save as NX format.....now u can load it as NX to other technics PR/KN and sound will be the same

Yes, I have done that but it would be so nice to take a disk with 20 songs on it and just convert them without loading, setting and saving in NX.

But it may be the only true answer.
