For those of you that are interested of converting and tweaking, it's a lowered price for the Universal programme at EMC. This version goes for most all keyboard- brands, and if you have or going to have another brand added to you Technics too, this program do the job. Merry X-Mas and happy playing GJ http://www.emc-musicsoftware.de/viashop/storefront/start.asp?

Sounds like a good deal, Gunnar, but for a retired guy on a pension, it slightly out of my grasp. Maybe when Santa brings me a new keyboard the EMC will be included?????? Have a great holiday.
You're right Bud, it's a great deal of money, even for me..... But if the KN6 and 7k was fully supported as well, it would certainly be a very good bargain. Maybe my good old KN5 would get a new life too GJ

Hi Jonny, unfortunately I don't think that's going to happen.
I've had EMC since it came out in the early 90's ( for various keyboards). I did the last big update when they overhauled the program, but I don't think I'd bother again unless the kn6/7 was supported. KN7 owners might be better off buying the optional style conversion disk available from technote ( it converts styles from the more current range of keyboards)
Unfortunately that's not much help to kn5 owners.
best wishes Rikki

Yes, you're right as long as we only talk about Technics, but the Universal version do also support most other arrangerkeyboard brands, so if we have any of those, Tyros, SD1 or whatever, it's still worth looking at GJ

Hi Jonny, for sure. ( one eyed technics enthusiast at the moment) I actually upgraded my emc mainly for my 9000 pro ( which I've since sold) but I could use it for the VA7. The VA7 unfortunately hasn't inspired me to create styles for it ( yet)
best wishes Rikki
