You may be interested to know that in the UK, all the dealers that stocked both instruments say that the KN7000 outsold the Tyros by 2 to 1. (This refers to Tyros 1 not 2)
This should tell you something

Hi to you all
Thanks again for your Input re the KN7000 V Tyros 1 & 2...As i mentioned earlier and some of you have commented on it is mainly a matter of personal 'Taste', but in my view the KN7000 technology is far more superioir than the Tyros, well at the moment. Thanks again all.
Chris.

Hello,

When reading the message of "Abacus" and then last message, I like to add that Comparison between KN7000 and Tyros 1&2 is not good banchmarking. My comparing between KN7000 and Tyros-1 makes KN7000 the big winner, because of better hardware (keyboard mechanics, buttons, etc., despite some resonance problems when playing piano and some organ sounds). But Tyros-2 is not just an upgrade of Tyros-1, because Technics KN technology and quality is built in Tyros-2 adter Yamaha hired Technics engineers after Panasonic stopped with musical instruments.

Here some additional information and example of KN versus Tyros-2: on my website you can hear the song "Vaderdag" (Father's day) of Marco Borsato as I played on my KN7000 in the past and recently realtime on the Tyros-2. Have a listen and tell me what you think (mailto:vision4life@chello.nl)
