A open letter to Bebop.
After the deleting of my posts and treads lately, and also calling me troublemaker and garbageposter, I would like to get some desent answers for some of my questions.
In the "reopening" of the "Evalution your Technics instrument" tread, you ask for piece and harmony. No problem at all Bebop, because it would have been so if you have'nt edited Alain's post who was both legal and not offending anyone, and likely regarding the simple question Johnnie.c. posted.
This is a question of principles and that's also about that not a single member should have to be treated like this. Why post at all if you never know what's going to be edited by others, moderator or not, after you've posted?
Remember, if I post a tread and someone reply with things who don't fit in to the interests of mine, do I have the power to go in and do such editing? No sir, but I can delete the whole tread, and that would be very unfair to the rest of the members posting in the same tread, therefor this should never happen as long as it don't cross the common sense and the rules of Synth Zone set by Nigel.
If someone post something who don't suit me in other treads than those I start, then I can't do nothing, and if the moderator don't agree in my way of see things, I can not do anything else than let it be as it is. And here is the big difference and where you should be very careful if you shall be universally trusted by the members/users of this forum.
My personal meaning is that you treated this "business" wrong, and as you know what happened when people moved over from Technote, I could not sit still and watch you make steps similiar to what both you and me was very upset and back then made actions about.
When "this Gunnar dude" being upset, and as we can see when other people here have any sort of misunderstandings and mistakes, they can apologise like adult people, and the moderator is a member here just like everyone else as far as I can see it. So the next question is, why can't you apologise too if and when nessesary instead of act like this forum is your very private area, and that other members meanings just can be wiped out the way we could see?
Let's carry on "in piece and harmony", but I can't and will not sit still and do nothing when such unfair play is going on.
Happy posting and playing. Regards Gunnar Jonny

Thank you Gunar for your post. I accept what you are saying and I also understand your need to make this post public rather then by email which I would have preferred. We have always appreciated your helpful imputs to this and other forums over the years as well as your very helpful website. I extend my apology to you for upsetting you as well as any and all of our members. I agree in hindsight that I over-reacted. However I do not believe that our personal disagreements should be aired on the forum but would be better served by using email. I always reply to any and all email received, and I do receive many. I agree that I should not have edited Alain's post even though I feared it would take the topic tangent and defeat the path of the intended topic. I apologize to Alain for this and resolve not to edit any post at any time in the future. I do intend to delete any posts that are abusive to our members, and encourage them to deal with each other via email. I will make an effort to bring a topic back on track rather then deleting the digressing post, and Censoring will only be a final effort to keep the peace and harmony that this fine forum deserves. It is good to have differences. Even in our marriage or work place it's good. Our job is to overcome these differences, and in that we grow. I have found if the heart is honest and humble, when the pain subsides, I am closer to that indivual. WE have walked an ugly path, and coming out the other end feels wonderful.
I live with a special thought in regard to my friends, and it goes like this:
If my friend offends me, does something to hurt me, I will not take judgement against him, for what he has done was not meant for me. It was only a display of what he may be going through at the time. Amen!!
Hey, I really enjoy this forum---it's time to go back to caring and playing. What is done is done. This is a sweet place to be, and I would like to get back to music, SD cards, sequencing, and those beautiful and sometimes crazy e-mails that Bebop sends out.
Her I go with my new word--- C H E E R S, John C.
