Just had a message from Neil Blake who runs Styledisk Warehouse and says he's very interested in coming - that'd be great.
And Colin Leaney who creates music and posts it on www.keso.nl has e-mailed me to say he's up for it too...
Looks like I'm gonna have to start collecting e-mail addresses into one place - help Midge...!

Hi there - this is certainly galloping off.

Must admit I would prefer a venue more central - Birmingham corridor - anyone else agree? Easier to travel to get to from most places

Who is supposed to be driving this - Is it you Roger?

Just a thought - see how many are interested and where they live. Then choose a location which most central to all interested parties home addresses.......

Yes Bill and Joan - basically that's where I'm at - seeing who/how many are interested and where they reside in the UK, at the moment...

Hi folks.
I will go anywhere and being retired any time.
I will be seeing Joan in May when I go to
Bournmouth I am looking forward to seeing her.I am going to ask her to marry me!!!!
I will have to ask her Hubby Bill first.
I am a little excited about this get together and isn't great that so much interest has been shown! Glad you changed your mind Rog about English people only.
Bill Norrie would be ruled out,and Joan, she's a Yorkshire Lass!
Regards.
Joe

Hi Joe - I am looking forward to meeting you too. Indeed it would be great to meet any other player if they are ever down this way, Portsmouth, Southampton, Winchester etc.,

Can't marry you Joe, apart from my husband Bill I would prefer a rich toy boy.... Joan

Hi Folks!

Just caught up with this posting? There is already two large gatherings of Organists and Keyboardists - one in the Spring at Lowestoft and the other in the Autumn held at Blackpool with a visit to the Tower Ballroom on the Agenda and these are run annually by Sceptre Promotions as advertised in the Keyboard Cavalcade magazine. They are usually for 7 days and include accommodation, food, teach-ins, famous artistes playing at early evening concerts and then afterwards for dancing, demonstrations etc., and of course, lots of lovely, lovely music. Quite a lot of people book from one year to the next simply because they have made many good friends and can meet up with them again to carrying on discussing our favourite subject: MUSIC.

I don't wish to sound like an advert and I am sure most of you will know of these events but there may be some 'juniors' among our Forum friends who would like to know of this.

Regards to all.

Audrey

PS for Joan - If you find your 'toy boy' get his friend's phone number will you please?
