Hmmm....

Alec, does this mean you're going to visit the
Frankfurth Music Messe?
GREAT, then we're going to know about the news
by a "inside" techie
If so, I'm looking very much forward to see the
reports.

Hi Alec,
If you're going to Musik Messe, don't forget to take your camera. It would be great to see some pictures of the KN7000. - Scott http://scottyee.com

Hi Scott,
I already have a picture of the 7000 on the invitation card.

Unfortunately it has been stretched to the point where you cannot identify any features...

Alec: Any chance of posting your invitation card picture of the KN7000? I'm sure 'even this' would certainly wet our appetites.

Btw, if you don't already have a website available to upload your pic to, I would be more than happy to post it on my site for you.

somewhere on the other hard disks I had a version of kai-goo or some such program, or satori photo XL, one of those specialist photo programs to stretch perspectives and turn pictures inside out.

I did toy with the idea of scanning it and trying to make it recognisable again, but I think they have obviously made this so difficult, it would be virtually impossible to get anything you could see any features at all from the tiny resolution available on the original

I think it would be great just to have an impression of the new keyboard. So maybe you can place a picture on the internet anyway.
I wanted to go myself to Frankfurt on saturday, its not very far away for me and possible to drive to the Messe and back on the same day. Unfortunately I can't go. So I hope you will give us a detailed report of your visit to the Messe. And maybe you can scan the picture anyway and place it somewhere on the internet. At least we could see whether it looks that nice as the KN6000. Or is the picture modified in such a way that you cannot even identify it as a keyboard?

believe me, what they have done is squeeze the image front to back, so you can only just make out where the keys are, and then bend it around into a half moon crescent shape, like a comma.

It is difficult to make out what the speaker grill is like, let alone make out what the screen or any buttons are like...

The Closer the new KN comes, the more worried I get about how I'm going to explain it(What! Not another one one!!) to my wife. I've used up all explanations I can think of over the years - HELP!

Well, Peter it depends on 1 How long you been married. 2 How much longer you want to stay married.3 Your age and health 4. The availability of a new wife with lotsa money, who is a great vocalist and plays good backup on the OLD keyboard.5 and/or how good a soloist gigger you are. :-)

Hi Max,
I got in, and was lucky because many of the central hotels would only accept bookings for the entire 5 days of the Messe.
Maybe I'll bump into you there
