I have in my effects rack a machine built by Ensoniq a few years ago that simulates over 500 different effects. It simulates every kind of amplifier, tube or solid state, open or closed, big or small etc. It is 4 channel stereo. The name is DP/4 Parallel effects processor. It is also totally programable and has about 50 user edited slots in it. It is very effective both for gigs and for recording here in the studio. It only takes up two rack spaces My Thanks to those that posted appreciation for the newsletter and the music songs and styles before this subject was changed. Bebop

Yepp, and nowadays any kind of effect can simply be inserted on the PC using Cool Edit or Sound Forge with any of the thousands of programmable plug ins available. Amazing GJ

Re: Newsletter -
As a newcomer to this site, this is the first I've heard of this Newsletter. Where can it be found?
Questions:
1) Are there other people who are/were not aware of this Newsletter?
2) Could this be the reason there has been very little response to it?
If this is the case, shouldn't we keep it going a little longer in the hope that an interest has been created by this topic and that it will be more widely supported in the future?
I (and I am sure many others)would certainly be willing to contribute now that we know about it if you could give us an idea of the subjects you are looking for.
