I read in Techplus Magazine that Alec will give a review about the kn7000 in the August issue.

Can we wait so long....

It is true Technote have asked me to review the 7000 for the August magazine. But I will not see a 7000 till mid July or later, so deadlines will be very tight.

I have been told they are still fine tuning sounds and deciding on new styles. With the flash system, I suppose they can keep tweaking up to the last minute the boards leave the factory?

So I guess the one I played in Sydney may have just had the 6500 styles loaded until they finalise the new ones. That would explain why I couldn't find anything new.

Does Alec Pagida or anyone else here have any clues who (or what team) will be used to create the KN7000's new styles & sounds? I heard that Chris Halon, Dom Chiccheti & Rocco Ferrante (on the USA side of of the pond) had significant input in the KN6000/6500 styles. Who will the leading style/sound designers (in the US, UK, & Japan) on the KN7000? Perhaps this might provide a clue on the 'sound & style' direction of the KN7000. - Scott

Following Scott's comments, I've often wondered who creates, tweaks, auditions, etc. any of the keyboard upgrades. Everything always seems so secret until the last minute. Is it because of the competition? Would not input and suggestions from every day players (both home and professional) seem reasonable? Maybe it occurs and we just don't know about it.
