Hi Tony, There is a program called gnmidi that will develop a medley of midi songs. So far I have "joined" 7 songs. Saved as midi then converted them to Technics form. All songs were D/Led from the internet. The address for the progam is: www.gnmidi.com which have demo software available. Is this what your looking for? Dick

Rog ... Yes, I have the HD sx6 ...I will try your suggestion ... The speed, or lack thereof, in 'loading' from the HD or from a floppy (which I hardly use) is about the only complaint I have with the kn6 ...

Dick ... Thnx for the suggestion ... I will look into that for other medleys ... However, for this particular medley, I was looking to go from a midi file to a Panel Memory registration to play the song myself using the on board rhythms ...

OK Tony - good luck - it is a nuisance when you have folk up dancing to keep them waiting for the next load...
As I say I've always heard that the HD load was very fast (floppy far too slow) so let me know how long it actually takes would you so that I can inform others when the subject comes up.

I never owned a KN6 having jumped from KN920 to the KN7000...

Hi Tony
It's a few years since I had the KN6000 but I seem to remember that whilst playing a song (or a midi file) there was a setting on the HDSX6 where you could have the next song highlighted. The moment your current song is finished just hit load. At least it's one less button to press as you wouldn't need to press the sequencer play button. I don't know if it was possible on the HDSX3.
You could hide the break in the music by announcing the title of the next song like disc jockeys do.........

Hi Tony,

When I was having trouble with my KN6000 I was advised by Technics customer services to use this method and it works just fine, particularly if you can use the MS button 'on' whereupon this changes to the next setting for you, but I cannot remember if this was available on the KN6. However, it is still a very quick way of changing from quicksteps to waltzes etc.
